alat Aziz with his troupe of musicians performed at the prestigious open air Hansdhwani Auditorium at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on the 17^th of Nov' 2001, to an audience of about 5000 enthusiasts. The Honourable Home Minister of India, Shri. L. K. Advani was also present as the Chief Guest along with his family.

Mr. Advani's favourite ghazal was Talat's rendition of his famous 'Daddy' ghazal "Aaina mujshe meri pehli si soorat maange". All in all it was a concert to cherish forever for the the ghazal enthusiasts sponsored by the ITPO and the Coca Cola.
