There was a unique evening at Ustad Rashid Khan's house in Nagtalla Kolkata on the 1st of Jan 2005.It was Ustad Rashid Khan's son Armaan's first birthday and he had a big party to celebrate it.The who's who of Kolkata and the classical music world was present there.Rashid Khan Saheb had requested Talat Aziz to sing for this occassion and Talat Aziz was glad to do so in view of the special relationship he shares with Rashid Khan and his family.

It was also a great honor to perform in front of great artists like Girija Devi,Ustad Imrat Khan,Pandit Buddhaditya Mukerjee,Pt Buddhasaheb Dasgupta,Tanmoy Bose,Ustad Nishat Khan,Ustad Sabir Khan,Ustad Mashkoor Khan to name a few.

The concert went on for more than three hours and Talat Aziz's singing was well appreciated by seniors as well as his peers in music like his friend Hariharan. A few select photographs for his fans to view with a newspaper clipping of the Calcutta Times.
